
2025 NEXUS Australia Summit
The 2025 NEXUS Australia Summit will be a space to reflect on the lessons of the past, explore fresh ideas for the future, and reaffirm our commitment to shaping a more equitable and sustainable nation and world. Through the NEXUS Australia pillars - Connect, Inspire, Activate - we will forge the connections necessary to secure lasting impact, pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
Getting to the State Library (Monday 3 March)
- Street entrance: Enter through the main entrance on Swanston St.
- Public transport: For information on public transport options see here.
- Parking: There is limited on street parking and some paid carparks nearby.
Getting to The Glasshouse (Tuesday 4 - Wednesday 5 March)
- Street entrance: The NEXUS 2022 Australia Summit will be held at the Glasshouse - Olympic Park Oval, Olympic Blvd, Melbourne VIC 3001.
- Public transport: Glasshouse is a 10 minute walk from Richmond station and 16 minute walk from Jolimont station. It is also a 5 minute walk to Stop 7 –John Cain Arena for the Route 70 tram.
- Parking: The Eastern Plaza Carpark via entrance D on Olympic Boulevard (which is across the road from Glasshouse) is open for Public Parking. Parking is subject to space available and subject to the fee set by Melbourne & Olympic Parks. This is normally $7.50. We strongly recommend you pre book parking to avoid disappointment. Alternatively, you may prefer to use the often reasonably priced metered parking on Alexandra Avenue and make the short walk over Swan Street bridge.
NEXUS Community Code of Conduct
- Non-solicitation - Including but not limited to business/fundraising efforts and promotions.
- Safe space - Free from verbal, online, physical or sexual harassment and assault. Free from discrimination on the basis of nationality, race, class, religion, age, ability, sexual orientation, perceived gender identity or expression.
- Drugs and alcohol - Official Summit events are drug-free and alcohol is to be consumed responsibly.
- Violations - Violations should be reported to australia@nexusglobal.org and can be grounds for dismissal. NEXUS Australia reserves the right to rescind Summit acceptance or community membership at any time for violations of the Code of Conduct or for other reasons.
- Indemnification - My participation in NEXUS events or being a NEXUS member are all voluntary and at my discretion. In consideration of this, I freely agree to release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue NEXUS, its fiscal sponsor – The Giving Back Fund, the officers, directors, agents, and employees of either (the “Releasees”) from any and all liabilities, claims, actions or causes of action, damages, costs, injury, loss and/or responsibilities (“Action”) arising out of, resulting from, or in connection with membership in NEXUS or participation in any NEXUS event or activity, whether such Action results from the negligence of the Releasees or for any other cause. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and attorneys’ fees, that may be incurred due to participation in NEXUS and its activities.
